Star Wars Shows ranked with Obi-Wan Kenobi

Contains spoilers for ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’

In the aftermath of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’s finale, we are attempting to rank all seasons of live-action T.V shows on Disney+:

4 – The Book of Boba Fett Season 1

When the show was announced in a surprise post-credits scene at the end of ‘The Mandalorian’ season 2, fans’ hopes were through the roof at the prospect of a show about the legendary bounty hunter. However it ultimately fell flat, the show seemed rushed and had some poor directing in certain episodes. It will forever be remembered for Din Djarin, a.k.a The Mandalorian stealing the spotlight for two whole episodes. The finale of the show felt chaotic with a confusing premise and an unconvincing plot which led to the show being a disappointment.

3 – Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1

Season 1 was a mixed bag. It had high potential and a lot of hype however some episodes struggled to live up to the expectations. Despite the weaker episodes, when an episode was good, it was great! The final two episodes will always be some of the best in all of Star Wars. Reva was a great addition to Star Wars and learning about her backstory was one of the most interesting parts of the whole show. Overall, the show had some good aspects and some bad, but ultimately it has split opinions with a growing proportion being disappointed with the show.

2 – The Mandalorian Season 1

The first season of ‘The Mandalorian’ was a great one and it laid the groundwork for multiple upcoming projects. Having all new characters and a completely new premise helped the shows as fans became invested in Din Djarin’s journey through the Star Wars galaxy. It was the ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ creator, Dave Filoni’s debut as a live-action director as well as introducing other directors to the franchise most notably being the creator of the show, Jon Favreau. The Hollywood veteran was the writer for most episodes and his experience working on big-budget productions helped ‘The Mandalorian’ become a household name. It was also Ludwig Göransson’s first time composing in Star Wars and his famous score for the show will always be looked back on fondly by fans.

1 – The Mandalorian Season 2

‘The Mandalorian’ season 2 blew all of our socks off. This season was full of wonderful surprises and revelations, from finding out Grogu’s name to Grand Admiral Thrawn’s namedrop. The first episode had us hooked on following Din Djarin finding Grogu a Jedi to help him train. Luke Skywalker’s return was one of the greatest moments in Star Wars History and we cannot wait to see what Season 3 has to offer.
