Let’s go to the beginning of the story, Will has been kidnaped and disappeared, i read a theory these days and made me think about it too, why Will didnt died like Barb did since both has been kidnaped the same way to the upside down? Apparently this whole story is more about Will then we realize it, in Season 3 Will said he wishes that they all could stay kids and maybe Vecna felt some type of connection with him…
The theory says Henry Creel’s family actually had to move because Henry is gay and likely showed affection to someone in their place of residence, and in that time, being gay wasn’t so accepted by people unfortunetly. Henry’s pain maybe connected him not only to the spiders but gave him an opening to be posessed by the Mind Flayer, but unlike Will, it was a willing possession. In the series he says he was taken by his mom to dr Brenner for his powers, but this could not be the truth, and he could actually go there to make conversion therapy on him. Maybe thats why we see Will project in school being about Alan Turing, because that is what was done to Turing…
Now talking about this end of Season 4 releasing next week, Will might be rejected by Mike . In the Trailer we could see him crying hugging Johnathan and we could also see him talking about Vecna how he actually know details about him…
After being rejected, Will will feel like doesn’t fits in anymore, just like Henry and this is going to tip Will over to seeking out Vecna, because maybe somewhere within his memories he knew they connected when Will was first captured and thats why Will knows details about him…
Season 4 could end with Will going back to Vecna, this time willingly.
Season 5 will be about saving Will once again, but this time fighting with him for this! The difference between Henry and Will is that Henry never had the friendships and support Will had. When Henry was talking to El in the end of Volume 1 he talks abiuyt not being accepted, having to live in rules that are created by others. The whole show has been a very cylindrical feeling and about going back to the past.
